AKAMA was registered as a ship in Ottawa Canada.  She is now sold to a new owner in Singapore.

The name AKAMA means whale in one of the Queensland Aboriginal dialects.

AKAMA is a full displacement motorboat, with a hull shape optimised to handle heavy seas. She is hull 2 of 29, built in the Asia Boat Works yard in Taiwan, to a design by James Krogen. Here are her basic specifications:
